Archivist Records hat den 21. Februar 2025 als internationales Veröffentlichungsdatum für das Debütalbum der ukrainischen Progressive-Thrash-Metal-Band Xenotrone „Into the Void“ festgelegt. Vom ersten bis zum letzten Track lässt das Album den Hörer in eine Atmosphäre kosmischen Schreckens eintauchen und erinnert uns daran, dass die Menschheit in den Weiten des Weltraums nur Staub ist.
Im Laufe des Albums machen gut durchdachte und faszinierende musikalische Schachzüge das Debüt der Band zu einer wirklich einzigartigen Veröffentlichung Anfang 2025!
Xenotrone ist eine Band aus Dnipro, Ukraine, die 2021 von Gitarrist und Sänger Kostyantyn Roskosenko und Danylo „Soulreaper“ gegründet wurde. Im Laufe der Jahre haben viele Musiker in der Band mitgewirkt.
Die Band veröffentlichte ihr erstes Demo im Jahr 2022, das von der Underground-Gemeinde positiv aufgenommen wurde, obwohl es noch Raum für Verbesserungen gab. Nach der Veröffentlichung des Demos ging die Band für ein Jahr in die Pause. Im Jahr 2023 kamen sie jedoch in neuer Besetzung wieder zusammen und nahmen die „Queen of the Night“ EP auf, die den Hörer in die 80er Jahre zurückversetzt und an Bands wie Watchtower und Mekong Delta erinnert. Die Veröffentlichung, die auf CDs und Kassetten erhältlich ist, wurde vom Publikum begeistert aufgenommen und gewann eine eigene Fangemeinde. Xenotrone ist Teil der neuen Thrash-Metal-Welle in der Ukraine und hebt sich deutlich von anderen Bands dieses Genres ab.
Archivist Records has set February 21, 2025, as the international release date for Ukrainian progressive thrash metal band Xenotrone’s debut full-length album, Into the Void. From the first to the last track, the album keeps the listener immersed in an atmosphere of cosmic horror, reminding us that within the vastness of space, humanity is but dust.
Throughout the album, well-thought-out and intriguing musical moves make the band’s debut a truly unique release of early 2025!
Xenotrone is a band from Dnipro, Ukraine, founded in 2021 by guitarist-vocalist Kostyantyn Roskosenko and Danylo „Soulreaper.“ Over the years, many musicians have been part of the band. The band released its first demo in 2022, which was warmly received by the underground community, although there was still room for improvement.
After releasing the demo, the band went on hiatus for a year. However, in 2023, they reunited with a new lineup and recorded the „Queen of the Night“ EP, which takes listeners back to the ’80s, evoking the sounds of bands like Watchtower and Mekong Delta.
