Pulverised Records freut sich, das mit Spannung erwartete vierte Studioalbum der internationalen Horror-Death-Metaller Heads For The Dead mit dem Titel „Never Ending Night Of Terror“ anzukündigen, das am 10. Oktober 2025 veröffentlicht wird.

Gegründet im Jahr 2017, wird Heads For The Dead von Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath & mehr) und Ralf Hauber (Revel In Flesh & Rotpit) geleitet. Das Line-up wird seit 2022 von Matt Moliti von Sentient Horror an der Leadgitarre und zum ersten Mal von Evan Daniele (auch von Sentient Horror, aber auch Dead and Dripping) am Schlagzeug vervollständigt.

„Never Ending Night Of Terror“ wird von Sänger Ralf Hauber als ein „insgesamt extremeres Album in allen Aspekten“ präsentiert. Es gibt einen noch stärkeren Fokus auf einem intensiven filmischen Gefühl, das sich auf „unsere liebsten Slasher-Filme, die von Rache, Gewalt und natürlich Angst getrieben werden“ konzentriert, und es werden Klassiker zitiert wie David Cronenbergs ‘Videodrome’, Roman Polanskis ‘Repulsion’, das Original ‘Freitag der 13.’, Stuart Gordons ‘The Beyond’ und ‘Re-Animator’, ‘Motel Hell’, ‘City Of The Dead’ usw.

Die gesamte Musik wurde vom Multiinstrumentalisten Jonny Petterson geschrieben, der sich stark von vielen „Kult“-Originalsoundtracks, aber auch von NECROPHAGIA inspirieren ließ. Die Texte wurden vollständig von Hauber verfasst, basierend auf den oben genannten Filmen, aber auch mit einem fiktionalen Aspekt. „Never Ending Night Of Terror“ zollt auch der italienischen Progrock-Band Goblin in dem abschließenden Titel „Witchkrieg“ Tribut, die berüchtigt dafür waren, Filmmusik zu komponieren.

Pulverised Records proudly announces the eagerly awaited fourth full-length album of international Horror Death Metallers HEADS FOR THE DEAD, entitled „Never Ending Night Of Terror“, set for release on October 10th 2025.

Formed in 2017, HEADS FOR THE DEAD is masterminded by Jonny Pettersson (Wombbath & more) and Ralf Hauber (Revel In Flesh & Rotpit). Completing the line-up since 2022 are Matt Moliti from Sentient Horror on lead guitars and, for the first time, Evan Daniele (also from from Sentient Horror but also Dead and Dripping) on drums.

„Never Ending Night Of Terror“ is presented by vocalist Ralf Hauber as an „overall more extreme album, in all aspects“. There’s an even stronger emphasis on one intense cinematic vibe, focused on „our favorite slasher movies driven by revenge, violence and, of course, fear“, citing such classics as David Cronenberg’s ‘Videodrome’, Roman Polanski’s ‘Repulsion’, the original ‘Friday the 13th’, Stuart Gordon’s ‘The Beyond’ and ‘Re-Animator’, ‘Motel Hell’, ‘City Of The Dead’ and so on.

The whole music was written by multi-instrumentist Jonny Petterson, who took a lot of inspiration from many „cult“ original soundtracks but also NECROPHAGIA. The lyrics were entirely penned by Hauber based on the aforementioned movies but also adding a fictional aspect to them too. „Never Ending Night Of Terror“ also pays homage to Italian Progrock band Goblin, on the ending track „Witchkrieg“, whom were infamous for writing film scores.
