Season Of The Dead ist ein viszerales, kinematisches Extreme-Metal-Projekt, das aus den verdrehten Köpfen von Titta Tani (ehemaliger Schlagzeuger von Necrophagia und Goblin), Giacomo Anselmi (ehemaliger Gitarrist von Goblin und aktuelles Mitglied von Goblin Legacy) und Enrico Giannone, Gründer und Eigentümer von Time To Kill Records, hervorgegangen ist. Er fungiert als Produzent und Visionär hinter dem gesamten Konzept.
Die Idee ist so brutal wie klar: das blutgetränkte Erbe des von Horror durchdrungenen Death Metal zu neuem Leben zu erwecken, den verrotteten Geist von Bands wie Necrophagia, Mortician und Fulci zu kanalisieren und gleichzeitig den grotesken Bildern und der rohen Energie kultiger Underground-Horrorfilme Tribut zu zollen.
