Der in Houston geborene und in Los Angeles lebende Rockkünstler DE’WAYNE kündigt sein drittes Studioalbum „june“ an, das am 30. Juli über Fearless Records veröffentlicht wird.
Während er die Dualität der Menschheit erkundet und die göttliche Weiblichkeit durch Musik entfaltet, ist DE’WAYNE zurück – ohne Mangel an Seele, Sex, Schweiß und Stil. Juni – sowohl das Lied als auch die Figur – ist der Herzschlag dieses Albums.
„Ich schrieb ‚June‘, weil ich musste – es strömte aus mir heraus. Ich war stark inspiriert von Talking Heads und Prince, aber ich wollte, dass dies alle erreicht; jung oder alt, egal welcher Herkunft, wir alle wissen, wie es ist, sich in jemanden zu verlieben, der deine Welt auf den Kopf stellt. Für die Fans hoffe ich, dass dies zeigt, dass ich wirklich meine Stimme gefunden habe. Ich möchte, dass sie mein Herz in diesem Lied fühlen – und vielleicht auch ein wenig von sich selbst darin sehen,“ teilt DE’WAYNE mit.
Diese Lieder sind DE’WAYNE, in denen er seine Liebe, Bewunderung und Sehnsucht für sie ausdrückt, und der Titelsong ist eine Hymne, zu der man stolzieren kann. Es ist kühn, kraftvoll und eindeutig für „june“, da es die feminine Kraft und die göttliche Kraft feiert, die sie für ihn repräsentiert.
„Das ist mein episches Rock-Liebe-Album. Ich habe alles gegeben – Blut, Schweiß, Tränen, Liebe, Sex, Spiritualität und Wahrheit. Jeder Song war eine Hingabe, und Juni ist das Licht, das alles leitet. Ich wollte Verletzlichkeit als Superkraft neu definieren, nicht als Schwäche, und dieses Album nutzen, um meine Evolution zu zeigen – nicht nur als Künstler, sondern als Mensch. Ich glaube, dass dies als eines der kraftvollsten Rockalben des Jahres bestehen bleiben wird!“
Sein neues Album wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit seinem besten Freund Dylan Bauld (ehemals flor) produziert, der etwa 95% dieses Albums gestaltet hat. Die Melodien wurden mit Hilfe von Brandon Colbein, einem wahren Songwriting-Assassinen, der im Schlaf Hits schreibt, zum Leben erweckt.

“I wrote June because I had to – it poured out of me. I was heavily inspired by Talking Heads and Prince, but I wanted this to reach everybody; Young or old, whatever your background, we all know what it’s like to fall for someone who flips your world upside down. For the fans, I hope this shows that I’ve truly found my voice. I want them to feel my heart in this one – and maybe see a little of themselves in it too” shares DE’WAYNE.
These songs are DE’WAYNE expressing his love, admiration and yearning for her and the title track is an anthem to strut to. It’s bold, powerful and undeniably for “june”, as it celebrates the feminine power and divine force she represents to him.
“This is my epic rock love album. I gave everything—blood, sweat, tears, love, sex, spirituality, and truth. Every song was a surrender, and June is the light guiding it all. I wanted to reframe vulnerability as a superpower, not a weakness, and use this record to show my evolution—not just as an artist, but as a human being. I believe this will stand as one of the most powerful rock albums of the year!”
His new record is produced in collaboration with his best friend Dylan Bauld (formerly flor), who shaped about 95% of this record. The melodies came to life with the help of Brandon Colbein a true songwriting assassin who writes hits in his sleep.
