Die schwedischen Death-Metal-Veteranen Centinex kehren mit ihrem 12. Studioalbum „With Guts and Glory“ zurück, das am 7. November 2025 über Black Lion Records veröffentlicht wird.

Als ersten Vorgeschmack auf das Album veröffentlichen Centinex ein Lyric-Video für den Track „Your Religion Dies Tonight“, den die Band als „eine gnadenlose akustische Offensive“ bezeichnet. Der Song liefert rohe Death-Metal-Brutalität, die mit der unbarmherzigen Geschwindigkeit und Aggression von Thrash und Punk verschmolzen ist.

Centinex: „Unverfroren schwer und in den Feuern der Rebellion geschmiedet, tropft ‚Your Religion Dies Tonight‘ von Blut, Schweiß und Gift. Mit Riffs, scharf genug, um Kehlen zu durchschnitten, und einem Groove, der hämmert wie Motörhead auf einem von Tod getriebenen Rampage, macht Centinex einen mutigen Schritt nach vorne in ihrer jahrzehntelangen Mission der kompromisslosen Extremität.“

„Diese Platte geht vor allem darum, uns selbst zu gefallen“, sagt die Band. „Wir haben nicht versucht, Trends oder Erwartungen hinterherzujagen. Wir haben einfach die Musik geschrieben, die wir lieben. Schwer, intensiv und ohne Entschuldigungen.“ Die Band fährt fort: „Es wird immer Fans geben, die sich nach der Vergangenheit sehnen, und das verstehen wir, aber genauso sollten sie verstehen, dass wir nicht das gleiche Album immer wieder machen wollen. Verschiedene Wege und Richtungen zu erkunden, das ist etwas, wofür Centinex immer stand, und wir werden das solange fortsetzen, wie die Band existiert.“

Swedish death metal veterans Centinex return with their 12th full-length album, With Guts and Glory, set for release on 7 November 2025 via Black Lion Records. As the first taste of the album, Centinex unleash a lyric video for the track “Your Religion Dies Tonight,” which the band calls “a merciless sonic assault.” The song delivers raw death metal brutality fused with the relentless speed and aggression of thrash and punk.
