„Für mich ist es in meiner Karriere am wichtigsten, so nah wie möglich an meinem Stil zu bleiben. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde ich ständig daran erinnert, dass das, was ich musikalisch anbiete, nichts mit Massenpopularität zu tun hat, und das betrachte ich als das größte Kompliment. Ich habe kein Interesse daran, in meiner Musik Popularität vor Integrität zu stellen.
Mit „Everything A War“ am Horizont habe ich daran gearbeitet, mich vollständig von den Zwängen von Zeit und Geld zu befreien. Egal, wie sehr mich die Gesellschaft unter Druck setzt, mich in bestimmte Richtungen oder Geschwindigkeiten zu bewegen, ich habe mir selbst versprochen, in meinem eigenen Tempo zu gehen. Damit meine Arbeit relevant ist, muss ich mit dem ‚Boden‘ verbunden bleiben und meine Musik mit einer Botschaft der Wärme füllen.
Ich erinnere mich, wie ich 13 Jahre alt war, Kopfhörer aufsetzte und Styx oder Queen hörte und das Gefühl hatte, genau dort zu sein, wo ich in diesem Moment sein sollte. Ich hoffe, dass ich dieses Gefühl an andere weitergeben kann.
Wenn „Everything A War“ eine Botschaft hat, dann geht es darum, zu lernen, seinen eigenen Instinkten zu vertrauen. Die Welt ist zu einem Geschäft geworden, und die Wirtschaft will dein Geld, deine Zeit, deine Gedanken – alles, was diese Imperien antreibt. Der Titel des Albums handelt nicht nur vom Krieg zwischen Armeen; Es spiegelt den täglichen Kampf um inneren Frieden wider. Wenn wir in unseren eigenen Gemeinschaften keine Harmonie finden können, wie können wir dann Frieden auf globaler Ebene erwarten? Ich glaube, wenn wir einfach langsamer werden und schätzen könnten, was wir haben, könnten die Dinge endlich besser werden.“

Over the years, I’ve been constantly reminded that what I offer musically has nothing to do with mass popularity, and I take that as the highest compliment. I have no interest in considering popularity before integrity in my music.
With „Everything A War“ on the horizon, I’ve worked to completely free myself from the constraints of time and money. No matter how much society pressures me to move in certain directions or at certain speeds, I’ve promised myself to go at my own pace. For my work to have relevance, I must stay connected to the ‘soil’ and fill my music with a message of warmth.
I remember being 13 years old, putting on headphones and listening to Styx or Queen, and feeling like I was exactly where I was supposed to be in that moment. I hope to pass that same feeling on to others.

The world has become a business, and business wants your money, your time, your thoughts—everything that fuels these empires.
