Epictronic Records ist begeistert, die italienische Genre überschreitende Rock-Metal-Band epoimóriròmiope in ihr Portfolio aufzunehmen, mit ihrem faszinierenden neuen Album „ricordi di un tempo mai esistito“, das am 10. Oktober 2025 veröffentlicht wird.
Hervorgegangen aus Bolognas Underground im Jahr 2021, hat epoimóriròmiope eine einzigartige Klangidentität geschaffen, indem es den körperlichen Einfluss von Metalcore mit den eindringlichen Texturen von EDM, Alternative Rock und Industrial kombiniert. Was als Ein-Mann-Studio-Projekt begann, hat sich zu einer vollständig formierten Band mit einem mutigen neuen Sound und einer Vision entwickelt.
Nach dem unterirdischen Lob ihrer früheren selbstveröffentlichten Werke „Vincoli“ und „kabukimono“ hat die Band einen entscheidenden Schritt unternommen, um ihren bisherigen Katalog von Streaming-Plattformen zurückzuziehen, was eine Wiedergeburt mit einem neuen Line-up und einer dunkleren, verfeinerten künstlerischen Richtung signalisiert. Epictronic Records is thrilled to welcome Italian genre-bending rock metal act epoimóriròmiope to its roster for their haunting new album, ricordi di un tempo mai esistito, due for release on 10 October 2025.
Emerging from Bologna’s underground in 2021, epoimóriròmiope has been forging a unique sonic identity by merging the visceral impact of Metalcore with the immersive textures of EDM, Alternative Rock, and Industrial. What began as a one-man studio project has evolved into a fully formed band with a bold new sound and vision.
Following the underground acclaim of earlier self-released works Vincoli and kabukimono, the band made a decisive move to withdraw their previous catalogue from streaming platforms, signaling a rebirth with a new lineup and a darker, more refined artistic direction. Now, with Epictronic behind them, they are ready to unveil their most ambitious work to date.
ricordi di un tempo mai esistito („memories of a time that never existed“) is an emotionally charged concept album that dives deep into themes of loss, abandonment, rage, anxiety, and the fleeting nature of existence. Written during a period of intense personal turmoil, the album is both catharsis and confession — a raw sonic diary built on distorted memories and unspoken grief.
„ricordi di un tempo mai esistito“ è un album che fonde le sonorità crude dell’Alternative Metal con atmosfere elettroniche malinconiche, attingendo da generi come l’industrial, la darkwave, l’IDM e il cyberpunk. Il disco nasce come un’esigenza catartica: ogni brano è un frammento di un dolore profondo, scritto durante un periodo di forte depressione, con l’obiettivo di esorcizzare il tormento interiore attraverso la creazione artistica.
Il concept ruota attorno a „memorie distorte“ di un amore perduto, proiettate in un tempo che non è mai stato reale ma che ha lasciato cicatrici profonde. I testi scandagliano i temi della separazione, dell’abbandono, dei rimpianti, ma anche della rabbia repressa, dell’ansia costante e della riflessione sulla morte e sull’impermanenza dell’esistenza. La narrazione procede come un viaggio mentale tra ricordi falsati e desideri mai realizzati, in un continuo oscillare tra momenti di intensità emotiva e spazi dilatati di intima desolazione.
Musicalmente, l’album alterna riff distorti a beat elettronici, synth aggressivi e noise glitchati. Le influenze spaziano dai Nine Inch Nails ai Deftones, dai Bring Me The Horizon ai Massive Attack, fino a suggestioni cinematiche e post-industriali.
„ricordi di un tempo mai esistito“ è un’opera che non offre consolazione, ma uno specchio nel quale guardare le proprie ferite. Un requiem personale per ciò che è stato – o sarebbe potuto essere.
