Gore House Productions freut sich, die Unterzeichnung des Ein-Personen-Slam-/Goregrind-Juggernauts Cordyceps Corpse bekanntzugeben. Das Label wird das neueste Studioalbum der Band, „From Flesh to Fluids“, später in diesem Jahr auf CD und Kassette wiederveröffentlichen, während die digitale Veröffentlichung bereits jetzt auf allen großen Plattformen verfügbar ist.

Anlässlich des Ereignisses hat Cordyceps Corpse ein neues Musikvideo zum Titelsong „From Flesh to Fluids“ veröffentlicht, ein chaotischer, anti-autoritäter Ausbruch aus gutturalen Vocals, knallenden Riffs und viszeralem Bildmaterial, das den Ton für die groteske Reise des Albums angibt. „From Flesh to Fluids“ ist ein klanglicher Abstieg in den Wahnsinn, der gleichermaßen brutal, ekelhaft und morbide ist. Inspiriert von Slam-Legenden wie Devourment und Cephalotripsy, liefert das Album eine rohe, aber polierte Evolution des Sounds von Cordyceps Corpse, das jetzt live Schlagzeug und eine straffere Produktion bietet und dabei den DIY-Dreck bewahrt, nach dem die Fans sich sehnen.
Nani, die jede Komponente von Cordyceps Corpse schreibt, aufnimmt und aufführt, beschreibt das Album als „reines Chaos in schweren Slam-Riffs.“ Inspiriert von Horrorfilmen, Dokumentationen und sogar Nachbarschaftsabfällen, wird die Musik mehr von Gefühlen als von einer Formel geleitet.
„Ich möchte, dass dieses Album das gleiche Gefühl vermittelt, das ich hatte, als ich zum ersten Mal Molesting the Decapitated von Devourment gehört habe. Ein dicker und brutaler Sound, der immer weiter auf einen eindrischt“, sagt Nani. „Ich hatte genug davon, Musik für andere Leute zu machen. The label will reissue the band’s latest full-length album, „From Flesh to Fluids,“ on CD and cassette later this year, with the digital release available now across all major platforms.
„After following Cordyceps Corpse (Cordy) on social media for several months, I am excited to welcome the project to our roster. Seeing Nani creatively market Cordy while composing filthy, slamming death metal, there was no question but to partner up with Cordy. To mark the occasion, Cordyceps Corpse has dropped a new music video for the title track, “From Flesh to Fluids,” a chaotic, anti-authoritarian blast of guttural vocals, slamming riffs, and visceral imagery that sets the tone for the album’s grotesque journey. „From Flesh to Fluids“ is a sonic descent into madness, equal parts brutal, disgusting, and morbid. Inspired by slam legends like Devourment and Cephalotripsy, the album delivers a raw yet polished evolution of Cordyceps Corpse’s sound, now featuring live drums and tighter production while retaining the DIY filth fans crave.
Nani, who writes, records, and performs every element of Cordyceps Corpse, describes the album as “pure chaos into heavy slam riffs.” Drawing inspiration from horror films, documentaries, and even neighborhood trash disasters, the music is driven by feeling rather than formula.
“I want this album to give the same feeling I got when I first heard Molesting the Decapitated by Devourment. Thick and brutal sound that just keeps hitting,“ says Nani. “I was bored with making music for other people. I wanted to form a band, but didn’t want to wait around. So I said, ‘f*** it, I’ll do it myself,” adds Nani.
