Nachdem sie sich mit einer Reihe von gut aufgenommenen EPs und einem erschütternden Split einen Namen gemacht haben, ist die Band jetzt bereit, ihr bisher kühnstes Statement abzugeben. „Ossuary“ fängt ihre wilde Fusion aus rohsten Death Metal und metallic Hardcore in seiner feindlichsten Form ein, frei von modernem Glanz und mit totaler Verachtung für Kompromisse.

Mit seinen dreckigen Riffs, erstickenden Grooves und unermüdlicher Aggression wird das Album bei Fans von Skinless, Fulci, Internal Bleeding, Xibalba und Terminal Nation Anklang finden und Scorching Tomb als eine der kompromisslosesten neuen Kräfte im heutigen extremen Underground markieren.

Scorching Tomb tauchte 2018 aus den Abwässern von Montreal auf, mit einer klaren Mission: alten Death Metal mit modernem Hardcore zu fusionieren in einer Stadt, die von technischem Death Metal beherrscht wird. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis sich die Band im Underground einen Namen machte. Ihre Mischung aus brennenden Old-School-Riffs, vernichtenden Mosh-Parts und explosiver Live-Energie zog schnell die Aufmerksamkeit insbesondere der Hardcore-Szene auf sich.

Ursprünglich gegründet von Tattoo-Künstler Vincent P.L. (Gesang) und Gitarrist Philippe Leblanc, hat SCORCHING TOMB seitdem ihre bisher stärkste Besetzung durch die Hinzufügung von Miguel Lepage (ehemals Blind Witness, ehemals Obey the Brave) am Bass und Émile Savard (Profane Order, ehemals Malebranche) am Schlagzeug gefestigt. Mit diesem neuen Blut hat sich die Band von einem lokalen Favoriten zu einer voll bewaffneten Kraft entwickelt.

SCORCHING TOMB emerged from the sewers of Montreal in 2018 with one clear mission: to fuse old-school death metal with modern hardcore in a city ruled by technical death metal. It didn’t take long for the band to make a name for themselves in the underground. Their blend of blistering old-school riffs, crushing mosh parts, and explosive live energy quickly caught the attention of the hardcore scene in particular.

Originally formed by tattoo artist Vincent P.L. (vocals) and guitarist Philippe Leblanc, SCORCHING TOMB has since solidified its most formidable lineup yet with the addition of Miguel Lepage (ex–Blind Witness, ex–Obey the Brave) on bass and Émile Savard (Profane Order, ex–Malebranche) on drums. With this new blood, the band has evolved from a local standout into a fully weaponized force.
