Die rumänische Black-Metal-Band Vokodlok hat den 14. März 2025 als internationales Veröffentlichungsdatum für ihr zweites Album „The Egregious Being“ festgelegt. Der Veröffentlichung geht eine Mini-Tour durch Rumänien, Bulgarien und Serbien im Februar voraus.
Als sie den Ruf der Verdammnis hörten, schlossen sich vier rebellische Geister, GhiauR, Strigoi, Blestemat und Grosan, beeinflusst von unheiliger Musik, den dunklen Mächten an, um Teil des Untergrunds zu werden und gründeten Anfang des Jahres 2000 die Band Vokodlok. Kurz darauf übernahm Freak das Schlagzeug und die Band veröffentlichte das Demo „Unchain the Wolf“, das fünf Tracks aggressiven Black Metal enthält, inspiriert von der dunklen Seite der Menschheit und einen Hybrid zwischen apokalyptischen Gedanken und Seelenquälereien.
Im Jahr 2003 veröffentlichte die Band das Album „Mass Murder Genesis“ mit 10 Tracks, das Ideen des Verbrechens auf dem Wege des Black Metal verbreitet, in der Linie des Antichristentums steht, bösartige Texte und den Ekel vor den erzwungenen Religionen mit teuflischen Blast-Rhythmen und rohen Klängen verbindet. „Mass Murder Genesis“ wurde international promotet und es folgten intensive Jahre mit Live-Auftritten in osteuropäischen Ländern, mit Bands wie Vader, Hecate Enthroned, Mystic Circle, Cirith Gorgor, Catamenia.
Viele Jahre später erschien 2020 die EP „Oracle’s fury“. Inspiriert von der antiken griechischen Philosophie und den menschlichen Gefühlen, führt die lyrische Geschichte den Hörer durch die Uraspekte von Angst und Glauben.
Romanian Black Metal band VOKODLOK has set March 14th, 2025, as the international release date for their second full-length album, „The Egregious Being“. The release will be preceded by a mini-tour across Romania, Bulgaria, and Serbia in February.
Hearing the call of damnation, four rebellious spirits, GhiauR, Strigoi, Blestemat and Grosan, influenced by unholy music, joined the dark forces to be a part of the underground and formed the band VOKODLOK in the beginning of year 2000. Soon after Freak took over the drums and the band released the demo “Unchain the Wolf”, which contains five tracks of aggressive Black Metal, inspired from the dark side of humanity and representing a hybrid between apocalyptic thoughts and soul tortures.
In 2003 the band released the album “Mass Murder Genesis” containing 10 tracks that spreads ideas of crime through the ways of Black Metal, standing in the line of anti-christianity, combining malefic lyrics and the disgust towards the forced religions awith devilish blast rhythms and raw sounds. “Mass Murder Genesis” was promoted internationally and was followed by intense years of live appearances in Eastern European countries, along bands like Vader, Hecate Enthroned, Mystic Circle, Cirith Gorgor, Catamenia.
Many years later the EP “Oracle’s fury” was released in 2020. Inspired by the ancient Greek philosophy and the human feelings, the lyrical story takes the listener through the primordial aspects of fear and faith.
