Zur Feier des Tages teilt die Band ihre brandneue Single „100%“, einen Song, der den zeitlosen Pop-Punk-Sound, die unerbittliche Energie und die unerschütterliche Entschlossenheit von New Found Glory einfängt. Über die neue Single teilt die Band mit: „Egal was passiert, das Leben wird dich mit unerwartet harten Zeiten treffen. Das ist unvermeidlich. Manchmal haben wir das Glück, uns auf sie vorzubereiten, und manchmal kommen sie aus dem Nichts. In diesen Momenten können wir uns dafür entscheiden, uns ihnen direkt zu stellen und uns der Herausforderung zu stellen. Finde Wege, an ihnen zu wachsen, teile deine Kämpfe mit anderen, um ihnen zu helfen, zu wachsen. Oder es gibt das Gegenteil und wovon ich abraten würde, nämlich sich als Opfer zu fühlen, die Welt zu beschuldigen und einfach festzustecken.“
„Dieser Song soll zu 100% Fans und Menschen inspirieren, die schwere Zeiten durchmachen“, fahren sie fort. „100% von sich selbst zu geben, was auch immer das ist. Für NFG war unser Ventil schon immer die Musik. Es ist unsere positive Flucht. Zum Beispiel ist der Text in dem Song „These songs are not for awards, it’s how we take a breath“ meiner Meinung nach ein Gefühl, das bei unseren Fans immer Anklang gefunden und unsere Verbindung aufgebaut hat. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf diesen Song und auch auf die Gitarrenriffs! Eine Stärke und ein Merkmal von New Found Glory, es macht Spaß, wieder im Mittelpunkt zu stehen.“

On the new single, the band shares: “No matter what, life is gonna hit you with unexpected tough times. It’s unavoidable. Sometimes we are lucky to prepare for them and other times they come out of nowhere. In those moments we can choose to face them head on and rise to the challenge. Find ways to grow from them, share your struggles with others to help them grow. Or there’s the opposite and what I’d advise against which is feeling like a victim, blaming the world, and just being stuck.”
