Time To Kill Records freut sich, die in Dublin ansässigen Metaller The Risen Dread in ihrem Roster begrüßen zu dürfen. Ihr zweites Album „Death from Above“ soll in den kommenden Monaten veröffentlicht werden.
„Death from Above“ markiert eine deutliche Verschiebung hin zu einem härteren und aggressiveren Sound. Unter Beibehaltung ihrer charakteristischen Mischung aus Intensität und Melodie hat die Band stärkere Thrash Metal- und Melodic Death Metal-Einflüsse integriert, um eine schärfere und unerbittlichere Kante zu erreichen. The Risen Dread ist eine Metal-Band aus Dublin, Irland. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2019 sind sie aus der irischen Underground-Szene zu einem internationalen Tournee-Act aufgestiegen und haben sich einen Namen für ihren intensiven Sound und ihre energiegeladenen Live-Auftritte gemacht.
Ihre Debüt-EP „Delusions“ (2019) führte sie in die Szene ein und bereitete den Grundstein für ihr erstes Album „Night Hag“, das im Januar 2022 veröffentlicht wurde. Das Album, das während der globalen Pandemie geschrieben und aufgenommen wurde, zeigte die Entwicklung der Band und enthielt Gastauftritte, darunter Andreas Kisser von Sepultura auf der Single „White Night“.
The Risen Dread haben sich auf den großen Bühnen einen Namen gemacht, traten 2022 auf dem Wacken Open Air auf und begleiteten Vader und Marduk auf der United Titans-Tour durch Europa und Großbritannien.
Time To Kill Records is thrilled to welcome Dublin based metallers THE RISEN DREAD to their roster. Their sophomore album, “Death from Above”, is set for release in the coming months.
“Death from Above” marks a significant shift towards a heavier and more aggressive sound. While retaining their signature blend of intensity and melody, the band has incorporated stronger thrash metal and melodic death metal influences, seeking a sharper and more relentless edge. THE RISEN DREAD is a metal band from Dublin, Ireland. Since forming in 2019, they have risen from the Irish underground scene to become an international touring act, earning a reputation for their intense sound and energetic live performances.
Their debut EP, “Delusions” (2019), introduced them to the scene and set the stage for their first full-length album, “Night Hag”, released in January 2022. Written and recorded during the global pandemic, the album showcased the band’s evolution and featured guest appearances, including Andreas Kisser of Sepultura on the single “White Night”.
